S. 2257, The Burma Democracy Promotion Act of 2007 (1 comment ↓)

S. 2257 would impose sanctions on officials of the State Peace and Development Council in Burma, to amend the Burmese Freedom and Democracy Act of 2003 to prohibit the importation of gemstones and hardwoods from Burma, to promote a coordinated international effort to restore civilian democratic rule to Burma.

There is a cancerous gorge of pain inflicting the people of Burma oppose to the possibilities of nurturing their children with loving care.

Until the regime can act more mature with their use of power instead of torturing the citizens of Burma (Myanmar), there should be no support of their brutal military.
