The entire MCA should be repealed. Congress should do its duty to protect the Constitution by restoring it, first!

This bill is essential in restoring respect for the U.S. legal system, and is an important first step in addressing the indefinite imprisonment of Guantanamo detainees, some of whom have been held over five years without word on their future (not to mention the torture they face as a result of this imprisonment).

We cannot be an example for human rights in the world if we do not firstly and universally recognize those rights. I do not understand why this would get nixed.

I guess our nation will go on living hypocritically.
