I would like to see the Gov.Offset repealed.

I'm a retired federal employee and am also eligible for Social Security benefits. However, as a federal retiree I must forfiet 60% of my Social Security benefts. This practice is extremely unfair and discriminates against federal employees. The GPO needs to be repealed and rewritten as soon as possible.
Judy Stengel
I, too, am a retired federal employee and worked over ten years in the private sector contributing to Social Security. It really is not fair that I must forfiet 60% of my SS benefits because I was a civil servent. This certainly does need to be repealed as well as the windfall offset.
