H.R. 992 would amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and the Federal Meat Inspection Act to require that food that contains product from a cloned animal be labeled accordingly.

Cloned fruit/veggies are genetically and nutritionally inferior to the origins. Why would we assume otherwise for cloned animals. I will not knowingly feed to my family any food product from cloned animals. Consumers have a right to decide for themselves. Cloned food should be labelled as such so the buyer will be aware.
