November 28, 2007, 1:19pm (report abuse)I believe that our children, be they black, white, green or yellow should be given every opportunity to become healthy, educated and productive adults. We as Americans should embrace every vehicle that is offered to our children to ensure that a productive education is reached in EVERY neighborhood. We set our goals for our children too low. My prayer is that like other countries, our children here in the land of the free are able to attend college without restraints of financial needs. They should be able to have the opportunity to achieve a higher education, whether they can afford it or not. This act is what we, as Americans should support. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand the power of a great education so why do we do everything possible to stop helping those in need. I support the Project GRAD Act and pray daily that we as Americans will stand for our children.

December 21, 2008, 9:59pm (report abuse)I agree with Gayle. An education is just about the most important thing a person can get; and as my grandfather taught me, it's something no one can ever take away from you. I think every child should have a chance to become educated no matter what his or her financial situation is. After all, our children are the future of our country; and I pray for them, just as so many others do, so that they will lead us to a better tomorrow.
