H.R. 6438 would amend title 10, United States Code, to lift restrictions on the availability of certain enlistment, reenlistment, and student loan benefits for military technicians, when membership in a reserve component is a condition of the military technician's employment and to repeal the prohibition in title 32, United States Code, against overtime pay for National Guard technicians.

It's about time! The Technician workforce is the backbone of the National Guard and we need this legislation passed to keep up the quality of our workforce!

Why do we want student loan benifits for the military? The military wants you to commit suicide so they can have your money.

It is a great idea, it equalizes the benefits between ANG Technicians and Active Guard Reserves (AGRs).

I am with you R. U. It's About time our goverment starts looking closely at out technicians.We need this legislation passed to keep up the quality of our workforce.

I'm with you Mr. Bell and you Chief (Taylor, you're an idiot!). I don't understand why it has taken so long to recognize such a grave injustice! We give our lives to the Guard and we have been repaid, thus far, with LOSING benefits! It's utterly rediculous if you ask me.
