January 6, 2009, 9:39am (report abuse)I believe this bill is the stupidest thing possible! If parents are allowed to smoke the marijuana freely, what will happen to america's youth? School violence would increase, teenage suicide would increase, and the general health of our society would decline greatly. What is wrong with our country today? How many other highly respected countries allow such a stunt? None! Our politics need a CHANGE, and not for the pot.. grow up people, its not the 80's any longer!

January 7, 2009, 3:29am (report abuse)Hey B91sgv, I have seen pot stop fights, calm down suicidal people and it helped cure my Asthma. I know responsible parents that smoke freely while their kids aren't around. I also know of irresponsible parents that get belligerently drunk with their kids near by. Our society will benefit from legalizing pot. It helped European nations.
P.S. The 80's was more of a cocaine era.
