This bill needs to be limited to Americans, and is not as currently worded. It should also be a credit for EVERYONE who purchased a home EVER if it is going to be fair. I bought my first home 25 years ago and never got a credit. Why should anyone be selectively benefited by a (supposedly) indirect tax that must be uniform?

This is a great bill that would have a great impact by stimulating the residential construction industry and turning around the housing slump.
