At long last, something real and not symbolic. I'll be urging Sandy Levin to co-sponsor. If you're against the war, it's time to prod your Representative to act on this. Silence is betrayal.

The neo-cons say the Democrats do not have a plan. Well, here is a very compresensive plan that would work with little or no loss of U.S. life. Give your congressperson a call and ask him/her to support this plan

Turn tail and run! Then IRAN will invade Iraq! You would have a bigger problem then. Never happen! Why not? What would the DEMs do if Iran was to invade Iraq after we pull out? Put "sanctions" on them?

I'm against any bill that requires troops to pull out in a specific given timeframe. Also the "authorizes president to" section is very vague here - and in fact seems contractory to the pull-out requirement. How can we assist if we're not there?

First, the military needs to make the decision to accomplish their goals, not politicians that have other motives. Secondly, I've looked for the tagged-on 20 to 30 billion aboue the amount requested for the military, can't find it. It's not indicated in the bill. Who's district is getting it, for what purpose and how much?

Give elected officials the chance to send thier children and watch a for a exit plan.
