Voting for this bill is the right thing to do!
I am a totally Disabled American Veteran. I don't live in public housing; although, I do qualify.
I see, according to this page, the majority of votes are against this Bill H.R. 403, The Disabled Veteran Housing Simplification Act of 2007.
I personally don't understand why voters would vote so heavily against this Bill. It simply restores the Civil Rights of Disabled American Veterans to the same position as private citizen's.
What is wrong with that? Why should Veterans, who are also Disabled American Veterans be treated any different than any other USA citizen or legal immigrant or resident alien? I sincerely hope to see more votes for this than against it.
