November 10, 2007, 8:24am (report abuse)What's not to like about this Bill ? Does Congress really need to make it look like there throwing us a bone every year waiting for them to approve our Cola. Give me a break.

June 17, 2008, 6:10pm (report abuse)Instead of an increase based on Social Securitys COLA, based the increase on the militarys' COLA.

August 17, 2008, 3:31pm (report abuse)The military pay is not increased based on COLA. It is based on the budget recommendations and whatever Congress decides to give out. Basing it on CPI like Social Security is a better method.

August 18, 2008, 12:25pm (report abuse)This year it looks like a COLA of close 6 percent. That is a better percentage than most folks will get in this economy.

August 19, 2008, 1:51pm (report abuse)More that I will ever get from my civilian retirement plan. That would be "0" adjustment for cost-of-living.

September 22, 2008, 10:43am (report abuse)The USA is taking 700 billion from the citizens to bail out incompetent companies. Will our percentage really be 6.2, or higher, or what is really left?
