H.R. 3823, The Energy Efficient Appliance Tax Credit for Refrigerators and Freezers Act of 2007 (2 comments ↓)
H.R. 3823 would amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow individuals a credit against income tax for the purchase of Energy Star compliant refrigerators and freezers.

Let's keep the incentive for energy saving going!

I would like to see the energy conservation tax credits in the same year we get a tax rebate. The consumer can take their rebate & purchase energy saving appliances, saving them future energy expense & kickstarting the economy at the same time. Make that rebate do double duty!
