H.R. 372, The Freedom from Automated Political Calls Act (2 comments ↓)

H.R. 372 would direct the Federal Trade Commission to revise the regulations regarding the Do-not-call registry to prohibit politically-oriented recorded message telephone calls to telephone numbers listed on that registry.

PLEASE pass this bill! These calls are annoying!

The bill has good intentions, but will more than likely go no where. It is the case of the fox guarding the henhouse.

There is a solution, go to StopPoliticalCalls.org and register your number for free and tell politicians that you will not vote for them if they continue to call.
