H.R. 3550, The AMERICA Act of 2007: A Modest Effort to Read and Instill the Constitution Again (1 comment ↓)
- This item is from the 110th Congress (2007-2008) and is no longer current. Comments, voting, and wiki editing have been disabled, and the cost/savings estimate has been frozen.
H.R. 3550 would require every Senator and Representative in, and Delegate and Resident Commissioner to, the Congress to obtain copies of the Constitution of the United States of America and distribute them to their staff and require that they all read such document.

July 24, 2008, 8:26pm (report abuse)I support this bill. Members of House and Senate not only needs to look over the constitution but to be careful when they pass a bill.
