H.R. 3479 would amend title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 to require, as a precondition to commencing a civil action with respect to a place of public accomodation or a commercial facility, that an opportunity be provided to correct alleged violations.

I am disabled and would like to see Title III revised to require 90 days notice. This would put forward a betty community acceptance of the disabled. I have been trying to get our local city to put forward a survay of business using the check list provided by the ADA. This could be the notification factor prior to bringing any legal action.
