H.R. 267, The Military Commissions Habeas Corpus Restoration Act of 2007 (1 comment ↓)
H.R. 267 would amend title 28, United States Code, to repeal the restriction on the jurisdiction of courts, justices, and judges to hear or consider applications for writs of habeas corpus filed by or on behalf of certain aliens detained by the United States.

Anyone should have the right to a fair and speedy trial, regardless of who they are, or what they have done. And a right to counsel. And noone should be abused at all, while in captivity, or otherwise. As stated in the Geneva Convention.
