Detailed Summary
Emergency Child Care Services Act - Amends the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act to include: (1) technical advice and assistance for emergency child care services among the types of assistance federal agencies may provide, at the President's direction, to meet immediate threats to life and property resulting from a major disaster; (2) private facilities that provide emergency child care among those facilities damaged by a major disaster to which the President may make contributions; and (3) the House and Senate homeland security committees among those committees that the President shall notify before making any contribution exceeding $20 million for the repair, restoration, reconstruction, or replacement of a public or private facility damaged or destroyed by a major disaster. Defines "emergency child care."
