Steve

A world of no. If I'm reading the bill right, this would return to tax-exempt churches (and mosques, synagogues, et cetera) the ability to directly fund political campaigns.

Like the Christian Coalition doesn't have enough sway over our candidates as it is - or like I want Al-Qaeda paying (through a tax-exempt mosque) for the election of a presidential candidate.

This isn't freedom of speech - it's freedom of the pocketbook, and I don't see that anywhere in the first amendment.
