H.R. 203, The Domestic Violence Victim Protection Act (3 comments ↓)

H.R. 203 would amend Federal crime grant programs relating to domestic violence to encourage States and localities to implement gun confiscation policies, reform stalking laws, create integrated domestic violence courts, and hire additional personnel for entering protection orders.

So if the police seize the firearms at the residence how is the victim going to defend themselves when the defendant returns to the residence? Restraining orders are just a piece of paper and last I check they won't stop a bullet, or knife, or fist!

This bill has little to do with protecting victims of domestic violence and everything to to with the eventual confiscation of all legally owned firearms! It is nothing more than a stepping stone for the far left to use towards the implementation of an authoritarian police state!
