H.R. 1937 would amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow a deduction for qualified timber gains and to modernize certain provisions applicable to timber real estate investment trusts.

Cutting WY taxes to promote more cutting of trees...even though the housing mkt has cratered and the weak dollar will already stimulate demand. Why not just cut corporate taxes for everyone?
