H.R. 1820, The Tax Equity for Health Plan Beneficiaries Act of 2007 (1 comment ↓)
H.R. 1820 would amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to extend the exclusion from gross income for employer-provided health coverage for employees' spouses and dependent children to coverage provided to other eligible designated beneficiaries of employees.

Please pas this bill. I have a domestic partner as I don't believe in marriage (what good is a contract that can be negated anytime one of the two parties wants out?) and I am now having to pay taxes on the $450/ month that my company claims that it costs to insure my partner.
