H.R. 171 would amend the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to direct the Secretary of Education to make grants to States for assistance in hiring additional school-based mental health and student service providers.

This bill should be passed without questions.

United states is growing in its population, we need to hire more teachers, schools counselors, psychologists and social workers to meet the growing population

The only concern I have relates to "matching" grants. Our school really needs more assistance, but we can't possibly match the grant money. We also would be responsible to pay for insurance and I don't know what we will do when the grant runs out.
