Detailed Summary
Quelling of Unwanted Intrusive and Excessive Telephone Calls Act of 2007 - Amends the federal criminal code to impose a fine and/or prison term of up to one year for: (1) knowingly initiating a telephone call using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice during certain time periods or without disclosing the identity of the sponsor, endorser, or originator of the call; and (2) using such dialing system or artificial or prerecorded voice to deceive any person regarding a federal election, voter eligibility, or an election candidate. Imposes a minimum mandatory prison sentence of 30 days for offenses involving 100 or more telephone calls.
