Ms.Wess

Im in favor of this bill because i think that it would be less complicated for the teen. I think us teenager's know how to make a desicion for ourself wheter we want to carry a child or not. Just because they're a parent dont mean they have to make every desicion for us. We have to find out on our own if that's what we want. A part of growing up is making our own decisions, even if they're not the best. It's not easy to go to a parent who expect's so much from you and say you're pregnant.

Crispy

It's disappointing that we should have to create a law for something should be common sense. We don't allow unemancipated minors to make many of the decisions adults make--entering into contracts and voting, for example. This protects them from being taken advantage of, among other things. Minors who feel they are mature enough to be on their own can petition for emancipation, removing them from being the responsibility of their parents/guardians. There are provisions for judicial review, in case the parents/guardians are not fit to make the decision. For Ms. Wess, being responsible means doing what's right, even if "it's not easy". The decision to take a life should be "not easy" and should not be left to children.
