Law enforcement officers need advanced training in order to fight the types of crimes out there today. They are America's first line of defense against Domestic Terrorism, Drug production and distribution, cyber crimes, identity theft, money laundering, etc. Without training, law enforcement officers can't do their jobs effectively.
