NO NAIS

This bill NEEDS to pass. We do not need a mandatory Animal ID program.

Worried

NAIS is going to a lot more damage than good, so we need to pass this bill!

katminpin@aol.com

We do not need a mandatory Id Program. Please find a way to get this stopped. This is going to hurt many people, especially the small farmers if NAIS pass's.

Stop NAIS

We need this bill to pass and Prohibit a mandatory system. NAIS is BAD for the economy and small farmers.

Kaye Lyle

Rural farmers depend on cattle for their livliehood. NAIS will put a lot of them out of business.
Why invade the privacy of small livestock owners? I don't believe disease reduction is the issue.

Clay Ramsay

NAIS is one of the worst ideas ever. It would be bad for American agriculture, and it will destroy the principles on which this nation was founded. This is a plan which would fit perfectly in the old Soviet Union or Communist China.

Rikki Meade

If NAIS is forced on the American people I see the end of the small farmer and a way of life. And do not believe for a minute that companion animals will not soon follow and have to be chipped. This has nothing to do with animal health and every thing to do with controlling America's food source. I also resent the fact that 5 family members have been deployed to Iraq to "fight for their freedom" while my own government is doing all it can to take mine away.

Patricia Ward

I agree with Clay and Rikki. This would be a horrible mistake and disservice to the American people. The more rights we give up the more "Big Brother" has control over us.

NO NAIS

There is no good reason to pass this bill it would have nothing but a detrimental effect on the livestock business and accomplish nothing positive.

Luana Kelly

This is just another step in taking our rights. This is just plain rediculous for a person to have to report to the government everytime something happens. This country is getting closer and closer to dictatorship. My horses never leave the farm. Please find a way to stop NAIS. It's the small and hobby farmers that are gonna pay the price. This is not right and it should be stopped at all costs.
