H.R. 5681 would authorize the appropriation of funds for discretionary activities of the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), including payments to the Great Lakes Maritime Research Institute (GLMRI) and funds for each of fiscal years 2007 and 2008 for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Section 205 of the bill would permanently authorize a Coast Guard housing program.
