More than anything, the people continue to suffer because of the embargo. I believe, as do others, that HR 654 will begin to remedy the embargo by permitting greater commerce between Cuba and the U.S., as well as permitting greater travel between the two countries. All of the ills of Cuba may not be resolved at first, but it is a beginning.
