<description>&lt;p&gt;H.R. 3462 would improve the tools available to prosecute certain violent crimes.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Prosecutorial Tools Improvement Act of 2007 - Amends the Controlled Substances Act to impose enhanced criminal penalties for serious violent felonies committed during and in relation to any drug trafficking crime.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Amends the federal criminal code to: (1) impose additional restrictions on the release of persons charged with certain firearms offenses; and (2) establish limitation periods for prosecuting certain noncapital crimes of violence and terrorism.&lt;/p&gt;
