Like the old saying a picture is worth a 1000 words-nothing like hearing the actual words made in an interrogation-It keeps all honest-It's fact that recording interviews will help to reduce wrongful convictions-It cuts both ways-Also aiding pol. agencies-It's common sense to have this law! It will keep the pol. honest in writing up reports re. interrogations/interviews-It also forces a defendant to stay w/ what was originally said during the interview-It also would aid to curb pol. abuse & forced confessions during interviews-which is a contributing factor in wrongful convictions-None of us want to see innocent people wrongfully imprisoned-I was a witness in a felony case-I knew the investigator had lied in his prior reports about the facts of the interviews-I covertly recorded my interview-He then wrote up a false police report about mine-He blatantly lied in the report about extremely important facts about the case that showed the defendant's innocence-Kudos Mr. Ellison!...
