&lt;p&gt;Calls on the Security Council and all U.N. member states to consider stronger measures to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, which would be a dangerous violation of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and a potential means of carrying out President Ahmadinejad's threats against Israel.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Reaffirms the U.S.-Israeli strategic partnership and close friendship and reasserts the U.S. commitment to defend Israel's right to exist as a free and democratic state.&lt;/p&gt;
