Summary

Currently authorized project would selectively raise Folsom Dam & reservoir dikes, reconfigure Folsom Dam temperature shutters, restore ecosystem projects, & construct a bridge below Folsom Dam.

According to the recipient, this project is a valuable use of taxpayer funds because it would provide a needed minimum of 200-year flood protection to the greater Sacramento Metropolitan area & continue work in fiscal year 2011.
