January 30, 2012, 11:10am (report abuse)Sorry, no...come back with a bill that eliminates the special medical, retirement, and disability systems the Postal Service enjoys and bring the Postal Service under the rest of the federal employee plans. That would *save* money for the government rather than increase spending. Force the pay freeze (COLA) onto the Postal Service as well which will induce more savings. Why does a letter sorter in Killeen, Texas deserve higher wages than a disabled vet?

April 17, 2012, 3:13pm (report abuse)Seriously? How is it that a pay freeze, or an increase in employee contribution to their health insurance, save the government money? The government, (taxpayers), don't pay for it. The postal service is not taxpayer subsidized. Get your facts straight before mouthing off please.

July 24, 2012, 8:16am (report abuse)Yes and a double-dipping vet at that. Already getting welfare from the taxpayer and doesn't need any more.
