ARE YOU KIDDING???????, when are we going to get the He** out of these other countries and mind our own business?. I am sick and tired of paying taxes so the rich can get richer on our dime. Those people in the other countries need to get up off their DUFFS and fight their own battles and not have us there fighting their battles. I resent paying for defending a country that refuses to fight their own battles. BRING OUR TROOPS HOME TO AMERICA WHERE THEY BELONG.

Yo Hank

I agree we should leave but only when other countries are ready to defend themselves against dictators and terrorists. If we followed your ideas across the board, through history, we'd all be speaking German and saluting Hitler's successors.

What about the $6.6B sent to Iraq that is MIA? Why do we keep handing out money with no watchdog involved? These countries are takers and they know that the USA politicans do not control the spending. We must take care of our own in the USA.

funds audit

If we are returning our troops why do we need more funds for the already over funded military. Honestly my experience is the existing funds need to be audited. Sorry some folks are abusing the system.

If we brought them home and spent the money we waste on foreign aid on our own country there would be plenty of jobs.

It's time to stop being the world's policeman and take care of our own.

How much of this money is going to dark spaces never to be accounted for. It is time for Americans to take time out from looking for a job and vote third party alternative.

I agree, we need to quit being the world police and savior. They're cutting social security yet giving billions to other countries to "lift them up". As we make our seniors work longer for less, thereby not opening jobs for young people entering the workplace, we disenfranchise our population. We need to start the lift at home!

There is nothing more important for the Government to do than provide for our national defense. The only reductions that should be made to the defense budget are clear items of duplication and/or areas where money is wasted or applied inefficiently. Departments that have grown by leaps and bounds in the last 2.5 years are Labor, EPA, Energy, HHS, Education, HUD, Transportation, Commerce and Agriculture, these departmental budgets can be cut significantly because most of their growth is creating inefficiencies, duplicative effort, and waste of taxpayers dollars. There is at least $5 Trillion dollars that can be cut from these budgets and no one would ever mis them!

Why is our country at War? We were not attacked by another country. As for the twin towers, who trained the pilots to fly the planes.
