(logged-in user) July 13, 2011, 3:34pm (report abuse)@T.W Andy Johnson's posts with impersonating identities including mine have made bad criticism against good bills and supporting bad bills. Take a look at his hate posts on the other bills. He's been discriminating my age like and making half-truths about me living in a basement and owning inflatable sex dolls. All that garbage he makes up. I am 28, I live in a trailer, I have no basement, and no inflatable adult toys.

There is already too much veteran welfare.

Safety Speaking
February 24, 2012, 11:15pm (report abuse)The only thing worse than ignorance is when people who know nothing more than their own greed open their "pens of poison" and write comments as above. If you were one of those who served faithfully in the military to find out 30 years later that the Marines poisoned you, like me, and have to endure the suffering of incurable diseases caused by their actions .... you would want health care too. Twice in two years I have been on my death bed but thanks to the grace of the Lord and civilian health care (I have to pay for it) my life was spared. Yes, they did this to me and a million or more others. Many have lost their lives because of actions that are nothing less than criminal. Had this been in the civilian sector people would be going to prison. The military? Ain't going to happen! At least help us live the best we can for what time we have left.

February 24, 2012, 11:29pm (report abuse)The Marines, their family members and civilians who lived and worked on Camp Lejeune have earned the right to be compensated. It's not welfare or a gimme if you earned it. We have paid for it with our own tragedies and the loss of our loved ones.
Just some Veteran
February 24, 2012, 11:49pm (report abuse)As a Veteran and Marine that served aboard Camp Lejeune I would like only to say that if we haven't earned the right to this health care for ourselves and our children then explain to me why not. Isn't it only fair that since we put ourselves and our families lives at stake in this that we should
have the privilege to at least healthcare. If such a mistake was made on the civilian level heads would roll and there would be lots of people would be going to jail but we are just the military and nothing is going to happen. No one will be held responsible and no one will go to prison. The very least the government can do is vote this bill into place so that we can get the health care that is needed for ourselves and our children. It is only right and only fair.

February 28, 2012, 12:27pm (report abuse)Both my brother and I were Marines protecting Americans including those ignorant enough to post negative comments here today. Real love for America has to even tolerate stupid comments from uneducated people. Please watch MSNBC's Semper Fi and get educated before you post. Please ask them to replay it for you if it's not scheduled in your area.
"Today, the world looks to America for leadership. And America looks to its Corps of Marines." is what President Ronald Reagan said. Leaders Poisoned by those entrusted to have their backs, not stab them in the backs.
like those posting Anti-American slanders toward those who have the guts to serve and not just hide behind a desk with a key board in hand. If this does not compute for you readress Garbage in Garbage out!

February 28, 2012, 12:37pm (report abuse)My Brother and I were both lifeguards at LeJeune between the years 1976 thru 1983. My brother was falsely diagnosed by good intending doctors with Sugar diabeties then Parkinson's Disease, and I was told I had and was treated for a Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Together we have spent lots of money out of our own hard working pockets on our own medical care, unaware of many things just like people posting things on this site. We've paid taxes worked steady jobs and never-ever attempted to draw unemployment so I encourage you to consider your commitment to just causes around you and just who looks out for your winy unjustifiable attitudes

February 28, 2012, 12:52pm (report abuse)Yes *** if you have any courage at all please at least let us know if you ever served in the military. Please don't take offense in this next comment as it's not pointed at smoking something, it's pointed toward your residential existence in a country that loves it's protectors! Do you INHALE? Be thankful that someone cares enough for you to protect your life. I'm a law enforcement officer as well who is sworn to protect and defend you if needs be and give my life for your families safety. Inmates often have more rights than those who take care of them 24-7. I hope you will look up the term "Vicarious Liability!" I'm thankful someone cared enough to have forethought for us. Readers please vote wisely.

February 29, 2012, 9:10pm (report abuse)I recommend that you watch the documentary named, "Semper Fi: Always Faithful" about this issue. It is now on Netflix. We need to help these people because it is the right thing to do. They have been damaged by the military and are not arbitrarily asking for "welfare". It is sad to see someone mechanically and repetitiously posting uninformed or uncaring ideas about "welfare". That is not what is happening in this case.

May 21, 2012, 7:39pm (report abuse)I am just Ashamed that it took so many years for Mr.Ensminger to get the Govt to Admit there Mistake and try to work for a remedy. I also was Stationed at Camp Lejuene 3 times from 1974 to 1977. I had Cancer of the right Kidney ( Removed in 2006 )I had a stroke when I was 42 and Diagnosed with Heart Disease in 2009. I also subsiquently contracted Diabetes. None of these has any of my Family Members ever had, I am sure it all is from the Water Contamination in Camp Lejuene,N.C.
