H.R. 1231 would amend the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to require that each 5-year offshore oil and gas leasing program offer leasing in the areas with the most prospective oil and gas resources, to establish a domestic oil and natural gas production goal.

We need off shore oil and gas drilling done by the USA companies - give them a chance to re-invest there obscene profits!!!!! Give them a chance to employ US Citizens - Give them a chance to supply our country with Oil - !!
