Detailed Summary
Emergency Energy Assistance Act of 2008 - Amends the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to increase the credit percentage for purposes of the earned income tax credit for taxable years beginning in 2008.
Makes appropriations for FY2008 for payments under the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Act of 1981 (LIHEAP Program).
Makes appropriations for FY2008 to carry out the Weatherization Assistance Program for Low-Income Persons under the Energy Conservation and Production Act.
