Detailed Summary

Uranium Enrichment Decontamination and Decommissioning Fund Reauthorization Act of 2007 - Amends the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 to reauthorize, and increase the maximum mandatory amounts in, the Uranium Enrichment Decontamination and Decommissioning Fund.

Directs the Secretary of Energy to study and report to the appropriate congressional committees on the the manner in which proceeds from the sale of the product of the enrichment of uranium tailings may be used to reduce or supplement the amount of appropriations necessary to: (1) fund the Fund; and (2) provide assistance to local governments and community reuse organizations at sites eligible for assistance from the Fund.<br>
