This is sooooo long overdue I cannot describe it! All school distrcits shouols be helping to create responsible and caring stewards of our environment.
This bill will help set that in motion.

Substantive comments that actually address the issue at hand are the kind of dialogue that is needed with issues, not simply ad hominem attacks like the above by Mr. Salerno above.

Studies show that children benefit from a healthy learning environment indoors and utilizing natural and outdoor settings as classrooms see Green Schools). Many studies show that children respond to these changes in their learning environment with improved test scores, increased attendance and decreased sick days, improved behavior and attention, increased self-esteem and decreased levels of stress, improved physical health and decreased rates of obesity.
