September 24, 2008, 11:24am (report abuse)I am so surprized to see so many against this Act. In the backgroudn it will provide more accountability on the basis of LTC's for their employee's treatment and experience to be in direct care and control of the elderly patients. As we all know these always end up financing some State's Over site committee to be in place, but this could be a good thing if they actually do their job and not just be chair warmers for Congress' Finance appropriations committee that will be over seeing this act.
