It's unbelievable how much they're spending - and for what?

Sal

It is amazing but it will be. I would be happy if they just didn't spend more than they take in, but they will. Deficit spending is now a norm.

Rick M

It's amazing to me that the "Greatest Cost" bills are going to cost me $5,968.55 next year, if they're all passed, but if I click on the "Greatest Savings" tab, I see nary a bill. Maybe Congress could work on putting some money back in our pockets instead of spending my money for me.

Mike G

It's amazing to me that it's extended until September 30, considering fiscal year 2008 starts in October. Maybe I should make my own continuing resolution, that says I'll pay my taxes in December.

Harry Getzoff

You continue to take my money without providing the "services" I'm paying for. I want protection from foreigners that are quietly invading our borders and destroying the american way of life. How much per family will that cost us? Vote these reckless people out of office next time.
