H.R. 6440 would provide for the transfer of certain Federal Property to the Galveston Historical Foundation.
Detailed Summary
Directs the Administrator of General Services to offer to convey to the Galveston Historical Foundation the federal real property located at 502 20th Street in Galveston, Texas, including all buildings and improvements on that property.
Requires such conveyance to be in accordance with a fair market value appraisal that is acceptable to the Administrator.
Makes the Galveston Historical Foundation responsible for all real estate transaction costs associated with the conveyance.
