H.R. 6438 would amend title 10, United States Code, to lift restrictions on the availability of certain enlistment, reenlistment, and student loan benefits for military technicians, when membership in a reserve component is a condition of the military technician's employment and to repeal the prohibition in title 32, United States Code, against overtime pay for National Guard technicians.

Prohibits such individual from being precluded from receiving any such bonus or denied the firstopportunity to provide a detailed summaryparticipate in any Department of Defense (DOD) educational loan repayment program as an additional incentive to accept and maintain reserve membership.

We give our lives to the Guard and we have been repaid, thus far, with LOSING benefits! It's utterly rediculous if you ask me.
