Detailed Summary

Online Job Training Act of 2008 - Amends the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 to direct the Secretary of Labor to make: (1) grants to states to assist them in implementing workforce investment programs that enable individuals to take courses on the Internet to enhance employment opportunities within the state workforce investment system; and (2) a grant to an eligible postsecondary educational institution to provide technical assistance to such states in implementing such programs.
