I agree with all except the Substantiation of HSA Distribution. This bill appears to be on sound footing and I support it except for the provision mentioned above.

HSAs have become an important tool in health care reform for over 4 million Americans. Some folks in DC don't want us paying for our own health care and they are trying to stop the success of HSAs before too many people learn they can have control of their own health care. Of course Congress and their staffers have us to pay their bills.

I pay my Veterans Association health care costs myself and then withdraw money from my HSA if I need it to make up the difference. My insurance doesn't seem to pay for VA care, so the money comes out of my pocket. More paperwork to prove I paid my government VA health care? Ridiculous!

Adding substantiation requirements will turn the efficient HSA system into a redtape nightmare that could rival health insurance claims.
