Sadly I suspect this bill is going to fail. Over the past several years, it has been held up by an anonymous hold in the Senate. Perhaps the "anonymous" Senator is no longer there after this election but we really won't know.

How could anybody not support this bill? Let us have our additional Quarters!!
Michael
The Americans of these U.S. territories should get their quarter.

Not passing this bill will give Puerto Rico and the other territories an impetus to secede.

Having lived on the island of Guam from 1992 - 2000, I learned of the incredible amount of courage and sacrifice of the people of Guam at the hands of the Japanese Imperial Army during WWII. No amount of torture, rape and murder would disuade them from their allegiance to the U.S. during the occupancy of their land by a foreign army. Just because they're not states doesn't detract from the importance they each played in the history of the U.S. They deserve their recognition.

I for one support this bill. I really wish I knew what senator is holding this up. I want to send them a letter.

Let the American Citizens who live in these territories of the United States have their recognition by having their own quarters. They are as part of this nation as any other State of the Union.

we want to have our own quarter too!!!

Why can't the US Mint make (5) additional quarters? For the Unincorporated territories(s)
1. Johnston Atoll
2. Midway island
3. Wake Island
4. Palmyra Atoll
5. Navasa Island
These all have flags or unofficial Flags.
Joseph
Yesterday i was visiting the us mint page and i read that this bill was aproved and the six territories will have the quarter
@Joseph
It has passed the House, but not the Senate yet.
