Detailed Summary
Amends the Internal Revenue Code to: (1) increase the maximum dollar limitation on the Hope Scholarship tax credit from $1,000 to $2,000; (2) allow such credit for four years (currently, two years) of postsecondary education; and (3) allow such credit to include expenses for books, supplies, and equipment for courses and for reasonable room and board expenses.
