Detailed Summary

Prosecutorial Tools Improvement Act of 2007 - Amends the Controlled Substances Act to impose enhanced criminal penalties for serious violent felonies committed during and in relation to any drug trafficking crime.

Amends the federal criminal code to: (1) impose additional restrictions on the release of persons charged with certain firearms offenses; and (2) establish limitation periods for prosecuting certain noncapital crimes of violence and terrorism.
