Tom Berenato

World War II & Korean Vetewrans were promised free lifetime medical care.
Being charged monthly Medicare premiums violates those government promises wtitings do exist & the point has even been admitted by gov.

Robert W Thompson

As a refundable credit, this would accomplish the same as waiving the Part"B" premium. It would require filing a tax return, which could be a chore for those who would not otherwise be required to file. But for $2244 (2007) for a couple, it would be worth it

Harold E. PINSON (USN-RET)

When I enlisted on 23 Oct 1956 - I was told that I would have total medical coverage by the local Navy Recuriter and that I would have complete medical care for myself and family if I stayed in the U. S. Navy for twenty years. I retired on 1 Mar 1976. The wife and I are both over 65 and paying $2244 for Part "B" Medicare Coverage that should come with my so called FREE medical coverage as promised in Oct of 1956. We are on a fix income and the $2244 would be a great asset to the both of us at this time.
