This bill is a no brainer. A $500 tax credit for hearing aids that could cost up to $6000 and insurance does not pay for is too easy and common sense. Why has it taken this long to get the bill to this point? Please do the right thing for the middle class and people who are hearing impaired!!
M. Walker
Too many people need hearing aids that don't have them because the cost is astronomical! Insurance doesn't cover them and in most cases doesn't cover the testing for them. This bill would ease the burden, particularly for those elderly on fixed incomes who would benefit the most from hearing aids.
G. Schimpff
This bill doesn't just impact the elderly. Hearing loss is the most common birth defect in the US. The earlier a baby starts wearing hearing aids, the greater the chance that child has to develop receptive language skills on par with their peers.
